“Famlie Guitars are my favorite builds with brand new parts, and all the internal mods to make it simple, useful, and fierce. I’ve spent many hours and years trying out ideas through trial and error, figuring out what’s best for me and the music. I hope you find these to be lifetime / workhorse / every day / every tour / one-of-a-kind guitars.”

Testimonial from a Teletone prototype owner

“Sitting down playing it now and it rips though, I don't think I'll be changing anything. That's a nice change from neck to middle to bridge honestly, good pairing, that quarter is so nice for strumming. Bridge pickup is really nice, I like that even when everything's dialed up it's in a usable range.

That's a really interesting tone sweep. You were saying it's tuned to just round off some highs right? Dead quiet pickups too. This rules. I don't honestly have any suggestions at the moment. Maybe if anything, someone else might prefer a slightly more dramatic tone sweep, but I don't have much use for <brand> stock tone sweep and I like the approach here, that that tone knob is more about dialing in what's already there. I like it present without being shrill and that's where this guitar sits. I like how firm these potentiometers are and how they settle into place fully turned. This guitar is great, it feels immediately very useful, and because sonically it occupies a specific pocket I think it'll inspire its own ideas and uses. I'm totally happy with it, it immediately seems super useful, not in a quirky way but in a practical utilitarian way.

The pickups have a really pleasant darkness and sustain, nice harmonic overtones too, I've never had a guitar like this where it's inherently a little dark, I usually have to reign in the shrillness, so this is really cool

All the visual touches are so nice too, so much to look at, love the ghost of the headstock decal. Neck feels awesome and super solid. So cool that this thing is as light as a feather but such power under the hood..”
